FEJA: General Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Bridge Program

This is a no-cost to you, grant-funded program that focuses on giving participants the skills to begin a career in the construction industry with an emphasis on clean energy and green construction jobs. The FEJA: General Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Bridge Program offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines classroom learning with practical hands-on experience. Upon completion, participants will have access to reserved seats in the Introduction to Electrification Pre-Apprenticeship and EV Charger Installation Trainings (additional information available at the bottom of this page).

  • NCCER Core

Requirements

  • 18+ Years Old
  • Proof of Identification (State ID or Driver’s License)
  • Proof of Illinois Residency
  • High School Diploma/GED/or HiSET
  • Authorized to Work in the U.S.
  • English Proficiency

Program information

  • Training Location: Little Village, Chicago
  • Training Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
  • Time: 9 AM – 1 PM
  • Program Start Date: Spring 2027
  • Program is grant funded and NO-COST to all Program Participants
